Technology
FMCW Technology
FMCW radar sensors (frequently modulated continuous wave) emit an electromagnetic signal cyclically. This frequency-modulated signal propagates at the speed of light and is reflected at targets in the sensor's field of view. The sensor uses the reflected signal to determine information about the space in front of it. The sensor characterizes a detected target according to target distance, orientation in space, reflection strength or radial speed.
Software
Pulsotronic provides its customers with a radar sensor platform from which specific customer application requirements can be verified and implemented. For certain applications, the user can choose an optimized and evaluate an optimized data processing chain (software in the loop process). In this complex process of data mining, we can also draw on a constantly growing modular software toolkit.
Tightness requirements
The sensors offer reliable tightness over the entire life cycle. They have been shock-tested across temperatures to simulate ageing effects and are protected against water and dirt in accordance with IP67.
